Theresa Rose Schorr, 84, of Tunkhannock, died Monday, Dec. 25, 2017, at the Meadow View Nursing Home in Montrose. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Schorr.
She was born on Oct. 9, 1933 in Cleveland, Ohio, daughter of the late Rose Pacewicz.
She was a 1952 graduate of the Forest City High School, a member of the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church and loved singing with the Wyoming County Chorale, in the Tunkhannock Library Christmas Shows and the music ministries of the church. She also volunteered at Tyler Memorial Hospital for several years.
She is survived by her sons: Harold and wife Jalinn of Falls; and Stanley and Linda of Quogue, N.Y.; daughters: Rose Ann and husband John Clough of Montrose; Lillian Schorr of Hop Bottom; Donna Schorr and John of Laceyville; grandchildren: Amy, Aaron, Anita, Allen, and Harold; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 30, at 11 a.m. at the Tunkhannock United Methodist Church.
Interment will be in East Ararat Cemetery.
A viewing for friends and family will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Sheldon-Kukuchka Funeral Home Inc., 73 West Tioga St., Tunkhannock; and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of the service at the church.
