Susan Barnett Terry, 53, of New Era, passed away on Friday, Dec. 7, 2012, at her home.
Sue was born on Mar. 31, 1959, in Towanda, daughter of Shirley Wells Barnett and the late Samuel B. Wells.
She attended Wyalusing Valley High School. After school she worked at Herman Reinveld's Son Corp. wreath factory until its closing. She then worked for Kountry Kreations until its closing.
She most recently worked for Metadyne until retiring from there. She was a homemaker for the last few years. She married Mark Terry of Monroeton. They were together for 26 years.
Sue enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as crocheting, photography, and working in her garden and flowerbeds.
Surviving are her spouse Mark Terry at home; sons and daughter-in-law: James (Kelly) Kulsicavage of Tunkhannock, and Jacob Terry of Towanda; daughters and son-in-law, Lora Johnson of Wyalusing, Melissa (Scott) Jackson of Wyalusing, Amy Terry of Towanda, and Stacey Terry of Towanda; mother, Shirley Wells of Towanda; brothers and sisters-in-law: Samuel (Betsy) Barnett of Towanda, and Andy (Tonya) Barnett of Towanda; sister and friend, Tina Minier and Donald Valise of New Era; 10 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her father Samuel Barnett; and a brother, Albert Barnett.
A Funeral Service is today, Wednesday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home, 1 Grovedale Lane, Wyalusing, with Rev. Robert W. Martin presiding. Interment in the Spring Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the P. Dean Homer Funeral Home on Wednesday from 9:30 until the time of the service.
The family will provide flowers and requests that Memorial Contributions be sent to Mark Terry at 934 Parker Road, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
