Mary J. Yatsko, 69, of Tunkhannock, passed away peacefully at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Wednesday, April 9, 2014, with her family at her bedside.

She was born in Williamsport, on August 12, 1944, the daughter of the late Merritt and Anita Masaitis Williams.
She was a graduate of West Pittston High School, and received her RN at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital School of Nursing. She was employed as a registered nurse at the Exeter Twp. Medical Center.
Mary was a member of the Nativity BVM Catholic Church Tunkhannock, and was a member of the Marywood Campus Choir.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Stephen Merritt Williams.
Mary is survived by her daughter Sarah M. Arndt and husband Thomas of Harveys Lake; her son Harry B. Yatsko II and wife Janie of Warwick, Md.; and sister Susan Blaum, R.N. of Oaklyn, N.J. She has five grandchildren which she loved very much: Alexandria, Breanna, Julia, Erik and Regan. And she
was a beloved aunt to George Yatsko, Donna Miller, Stephen Yatsko, Dr. Louis Blaum III, Brian Blaum, Valerie Yatsko, Michael Yatsko, and Stephen Merritt Williams Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held Monday morning, April 14, from the Church of Nativity B.V.M. in Tunkhannock, with interment in West Pittston Cemetery. Arrangements by Harding Litwin Funeral Home, 123 W. Tioga St., Tunkhannock.
