Orson A. "Budd" Hendershot of Harleysville, formerly of Springville, died Saturday, May 31, 2014, in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville.
Budd was born in Kingston on Jan. 12, 1930, son of the late Orson S. and Ann Kolis Hendershot.
A graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School, he was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War.
Prior to his retirement he was employed as a steam fitter with local #420. He was a member of the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock.
Budd was preceded in death by sisters: Media Smith, Anne Bernotovich and Rosella Mackin.
Surviving is his wife of 58 years, Dorothy Dobrosielski Hendershot; son and daughter-in-law Eric and Alison Herdershot; and a grandson Sean Hendershot of Skippack.
A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4, at the Church of the Nativity BVM in Tunkhannock. Interment in Pieta Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
