Clara Blizzard Hadsall, 92, of Beaumont, passed peacefully into eternal life at home on Nov. 1, 2012.

Born in Bowman's Creek, Feb. 18, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Raymond Hiram Blizzard Sr., and Nettie Evans Blizzard.
As a girl she worked with her father in the lumber woods. She attended schools in Lemon, Ellsworth Hill, and Evans Falls, graduating from Beaumont High School in 1938.
She married Wayne Richard Hadsall in 1940. Together they operated the family dairy and fruit farm in Beaumont. She was a member of Beaumont Union Gospel Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She served as an auditor for Monroe Township, was on the local election board, and helped organize the first Beaumont High School Homecoming. She was most proud of raising a family of nine children, whom she loved dearly.
Clara enjoyed rides exploring the countryside with her children, holiday gatherings with her whole family around her, and the companionship of her border collies. She was famous for her apple pies.
Preceding her in death was her husband Wayne on August 17, 1977.
She is survived by her brother Raymond Blizzard of Centermoreland; children: Susan Davis and husband Thomas of Beaumont, Richard and wife Betty Lou DeRemer Hadsall of Beaumont, Barbara Field and husband Thomas of Noxen, Gail Thompson of Falls, Alan and wife Lorraine Brown Hadsall of Beaumont, Alice Davis and husband Stephen of Elmira, N.Y., Kathryn Thompson and husband John of Evans Falls, Laura at home, and Roger and wife Nancy Galvin Hadsall of Beaumont.
Also surviving are grandchildren: Ellen Davis Morehouse, David Davis, Ethan Davis, Kyler Hadsall, Jesse Hadsall, Judson Field, Sarah Field, Nettie Thompson Frohnhoefer, Nathan Thompson, Kirsha Hadsall Johns, Kathleen Hadsall, Meredith Davis Simpson, Benjamin Davis, and Matthew Thompson. Her step-grandchildren Eric Ankoff and Melanie Ankoff Moran were also part of her family.
Clara had nine great-grandchildren: Lucas, Amelia, Konner, Dylan, Laura, Nathan, Connor, Jackson, and Lotus.
The family would like to thank the staff and volunteers of SouthernCare Hospice and especially her nurse Robin for the excellent care she received.
Funeral services were held Monday morning in the Nulton-Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 5749 SR 309, (Beaumont) Monroe Twp., with the Rev. Dominick Petillo of the Beaumont Union Gospel Church officiating
Interment in the Beaumont Cemetery.
