SSGT Jason Ryan Miller, 25, of Mount Laurel, N.J., died at Virtue Hospital, Mt Holly, N.J. on Friday February 15, 2013. He was married to former Brittany Fike of Springville.

Born in Tunkhannock on Nov. 2, 1987, he was the son Burton Earl Miller and Deborah Casselbury of Springville.
Jason is a 2006 graduate of Elk Lake High School then entered into the military joining the U.S. Air force where he was an aviation resource manager. After joining the military he received many awards and metals for his dedicated service.
He also participated in the Community College of the Air Force associate's degree program.
He enjoyed wrestling, baseball, riding his dirt bikes and ATVs, and he enjoyed playing the X-BOX.
Jason was preceded in death by his brother Burton E. Miller Jr.; paternal grandparents Jacob and Mary E. Miller; and maternal grandparents Ralph and Delores Casselbury.
Surviving, besides his parents and wife, are a sister Clarissa Miller and her fiance Walter Sherwood of Tunkhannock; a brother Caden Miller of Springville; and a son Jace Miller of Springville and his companion Selina Rodriguez of Del Rio, Texas; and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral service with military honors will be held Wednesday, Feb. 20, at 11 a.m. from the Harding Litwin Funeral Home 123 W. Tioga St. Tunkhannock.
Interment will be at Sunnyside Cemetery, Tunkhannock.
