BALDWYN – Mildred B. Marshall, 73, died Monday, March 2, 2015, at the North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, March 6, at Mt. Nebo C.M.E. Church in Baldwyn. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Agnew & Sons Funeral Home of Baldwyn is in charge of arrangements. Visitation is from 3 to 6 p.m. today at funeral home.

Martin, Nonie - Corinth  
CORINTH – Nonie Sue Coleman Martin, 91, died at home on March 2, 2015. She was born December 6, 1923, to the late Lillian Burns Coleman and Jessie Box ""Boy"" Coleman. She was preceded in death by her husband and the love of her life, Brooks Walker Martin. She loved, and was adored by, her four children and their spouses: Danny Martin and Pam, Mike Martin and Suzanne, Cathy Martin Robertson and Don, and Jack Martin and Sherri, as well as her grandchildren (and great-grandchildren): Patrick Martin and Martha (Wyatt, Daisy and Walker), Mary Elizabeth Martin, Zachary Robertson, Ricky Smith and Dawn (McKenna and Ketcher), Summer Dougan and Zach (Kai). She is also survived by one brother, Hugh Baby Coleman (Frances); and many nieces and nephews. Nonie Sue was known far and wide for being an excellent cook. She was very involved in the Alcorn County Extension Service and Homemakers' Club, 4-H, and Freed-Hardeman Associates. She loved people and also loved her job as a teller at BancorpSouth. She was an active member of Theo Church of Christ. Visitation will be held at Memorial Funeral Home on Friday night, March 6, from 5 to 8 p.m., with a visitation preceding the funeral service on Saturday, March 7, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Theo Church of Christ, Highway 72 West. The funeral service and celebration of life will start at 2 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be mailed to Oaks Hill Cemetery Fund, P.O. Box 2736, Corinth, MS 38835-2736 or Sanctuary Hospice House, 5159 West Main St., Tupelo, MS 38803. Condolences can be made at www.memorialcorinth.com. Memorial Funeral Home of Corinth is in charge.

Mauney, William P. "Doc" - Ripley  
RIPLEY – William ""Doc"" Mauney, 93, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015, at his home. He was born April 29, 1921, to the late William Arthur ""Pete"" Mauney and Elsie Hurt Mauney. He was a member of Peoples Baptist Church. He worked in construction, logging and did carpenter work. He was an avid fan of baseball, especially the Cardinals. He enjoyed spending time with his family and the outdoors. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1, 2015, in the Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home with Bro. Doc Shelton, Bro. Jeff Adams and Bro. Randy Isbel officiating. Burial will be in Lowry Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Carol Moore Mauney of Ripley; one daughter, Lenise ""Nisey"" Eaker (Steven) of Ingomar: one son, Mac Mauney of Ripley; and three grandchildren, James W. ""Billy"" Eaker, Courtney Eaker and Andrew Eaker, all of Ingomar. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and five brothers. Memorials may be sent to Peoples Baptist Church or Gideon Bible Society. Visitation will be from 6 until 8 p.m. today, February 28, 2015, at Ripley Funeral Home. The remains will lie in repose from 2 until 6 p.m. today at the funeral home and at the church from 9:30 until 10:25 a.m. Saturday.

McCord, Dorothy - Guntown  
GUNTOWN – Dorothy Mae Harrelson McCord, 79, passed away March 3, 2015, at NMMC. She retired from Lucky Star Manufacturing and FMC Corp. She was a lifemember of Camp Creek Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Saturday March 7, 2015, at Camp Creek Baptist Church at 2 p.m. with Bro. Wayne Frederick and Bro. Chad Higgins officiating. Burial will be in the Camp Creek Church Cemetery. Waters Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. She is survived by her husband, Charles W. McCord of Guntown; daughter, Betty Meeks (Payton) of Guntown; stepdaughter, Mary Hogue (John) of New Albany; two sons, Billy Joe Brown (Ruth) and David Brown (Cathy) of Guntown; 10 grandchildren, Nicholas Brown, Daniel Brown, Shawna Loden, Kelvin Meeks, Kelly Gilbert, Gerald Hogue, Angelia Hardin, Veronica Davis, Clinton Edge and Justin Edge; 19 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her first husband, James Floyd Brown; second husband, Ray Stacyl and her parents, Grady and Lanie Smith Harrelson. Her grandsons will serve as her pallbearers. Visitation will be today at Waters Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. and noon until service time at Camp Creek Baptist Church on Saturday.
