SHERMAN – Warrin ""Axl"" Allred, 18, died Saturday, April 19, 2014, at his residence following a lifelong illness. He was born May 12, 1995, in Tupelo, to Michael Sean Allred and Tammy Smith Allred. He was born fighting for the life he enjoyed, playing the Xbox, building model airplanes, fishing, cooking and eating spicy foods, collecting guns and pocket knives, listening to music, and watching the History Channel on television. Although he was disabled, his dream was to one day be a policeman, protecting those he loved. He was a member of Highland Church of Christ in Texarkana, Ark.
A celebration of life service will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, April 22, in Tupelo Chapel of Holland Funeral Directors with Bro. Tim Brown and Bro. Wayne Cox officiating. Burial will follow in the family plot at Mayfield Cemetery in Saltillo. Visitation will be today from 5 to 8 p.m. and from noon until service time Tuesday.
Survivors include his mother, Tammy Allred of Sherman and his father, Michael Sean Allred (Rhonda) of Tupelo; three sisters, Heaven Reese (Jake) of Fulton, Alexus Allred of Sherman, and Hayden Allred of Shannon; grandparents, Billy Ray Smith and Delores Smith of Sherman and Otis Ray and Sheryll Ray of Texarkana, Ark.; great-grandmother, Virginia Allred of Tupelo; and a host of other beloved relatives.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Alvin Allred and a cousin, Jonathan Bramlett.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Simpson, Jake Umfress, Alex Simpson, Caleb Preissig, David McMillen, Tyler Powell, Michael Nichols, and Bo Cayson.
Honorary pallbearer will be Aaron Crump.
