Shirley A. Knight
MOUNT VERNON: Shirley A. Knight, age 77, of Mount Vernon, passed away on February 24, 2013 at Country Club Retirement Campus.
She was born on November 14, 1935 in Cambridge to the late Robert and Eleanor (Fragazi) Logan. Shirley was a lifelong camper with her late husband and made many friends through there travels.
She is survived by her children, Tim (Amy) Knight of Heath, Jeff (Laura) Knight of Roaming Shores, Joe (Desi) Knight of Texas and Jewell Ann (Karim) Bathiley of Cincinnati; a brother Bob (Kathy) Logan of W. Virginia; her grandchildren Catrina, Becky, Jennifer, Michelle, Logan, Alexandria and Chelsea; numerous great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Sharon Logan of Indiana.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Knight Jr.; and a brother Jim Logan.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 6:00 - 8:00PM at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon and one hour prior to services on Thursday. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00AM at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mound View Cemetery.
