Clara Kettlewell NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR: A funeral service for Clara Kettlewell, 101, of North Little Rock, Arkansas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 30, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home with Rev. Charlsie Ramsey officiating. Burial will take place in Hanover Cemetery. Clara was born on May 24, 1914 in Hanover, Ohio, to the late Horace D. and Jennie (Giffen) Evans. She passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2015. Clara graduated from Hanover High School and the Newark College of Commerce. She was employed by Owens Corning Fiberglas Corp. from 1934 to 1948 in Newark and Toledo, Ohio, and then by Service Products in Toledo and Columbus. In 1955 she married M. Sgt. Ralph D. Kettlewell and moved to North Little Rock, Arkansas. She retired as bookkeeper and secretary-treasurer of Leird Church Furniture in 1979. She was a member of Hanover Presbyterian Church, American Legion Post #1, Little Rock, and Freedom Years of PNB, Newark, Ohio. She is survived by two sons, Ralph D. Kettlewell of Tucson, Arizona and Todd (Julie) Kettlewell of North Little Rock, Arkansas; a step-son, Ralph Wayne (Carol) Kettlewell of Stafford, Texas; a step-daughter, Sue (Richard) Griffin of Sacramento, California; a granddaughter, Mallory (Tyler) Hopper; and three step-grandchildren, Cheryl (Tom) Mallette, Sean (Jennifer) Griffin and Robyn (Jeff) Babb; two great-grandchildren, Ryder Hopper and Sayler Hopper; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph D. Kettlewell; and three sisters, Kathleen Brown Parr, Sarah VanWey and Mary Hicks. Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, May 29, at Criss Wagner Hoskinson Funeral Home, 179 Granville Street, Newark. Kaiser, Stanley D.  
Stanley D. Kaiser NEWARK: Stanley D. Kaiser, 72 of Newark, passed away Wednesday, May 20 at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center. He was born July 5, 1942 to the late Donald and Juanita (Cook) Kaiser. Stanley graduated from Edon High School in 1960. He attended Ohio Northern University where he was a member of the basketball team. Stan was elected the most valuable player on the 1964-65 team. He set three school records and was named to NAIA District 22 basketball team. Upon graduation, he became a teacher and coach while working on his Masters in Administration from Kent State University. He was hired as a Principal for Newark City Schools in 1974 where he spent 33 years as an educator. Upon his retirement he worked part-time at Chapel Hill Golf Course. Stan was a member of Second Presbyterian Church. His love for golfing included his Wednesday golf league as well as many other groups of golfing friends. He enjoyed travelling, family and grandchildren's activities. Stan was a wonderful Husband, Father, Grandpa, Brother, Uncle, Friend and Neighbor. He had a true love for the education system, and enjoyed getting to know the many students and families throughout the years. Stan had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. Never to be forgotten are the lasting memories Stan leaves with the many lives his life touched. He is survived by his wife, Phyllis of 47 years; daughters, Kimberley (Brian) Sherman, and Kristie (Matthew) Schell, both of Newark, OH; sister, Jackie (Burt) Blue of Fayette, OH; four grandchildren, Jake and Peyton Sherman, Ethan and Sullivan Schell. He was preceded in death by his parents. A funeral service for Stanley D. Kaiser, 72, of Newark will be held Thursday, May 28, 11:00 a.m.at the Second Presbyterian Church, 42 East Church Street, Newark, OH. Family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. Wednesday May 27th. at the Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, OH. A private burial is scheduled. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in the memory of Stanley Kaiser to Hospice of Central Ohio, P.O. Box 430, Newark, OH. and/or the Second Presbyterian Church, 42 West Church Street, Newark, OH.
