Paul, Betty Louene
Betty Louene Paul COLUMBUS: Betty Louene Paul, age 64, of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Kobacker House in Columbus surrounded by the people who loved her most in this world. She was born March 22, 1951 in Newark, Ohio to the late Edward A. and Virginia F. (Hayes) Paul. Betty was an inspirational and genuine figure and she made an impact on all who had the pleasure and good fortune to know her. During her lifetime she was an upholsterer, a craftsperson and an artist. She left this world a better place by instilling compassion, kind heartedness and an appreciation for things often overlooked in all who knew her, but most especially in her daughters, granddaughters, niece, and nephews. She had a unique way of interpreting the world and she never failed to make those around her laugh. With immeasurable love and fondness we will reflect on her innumerable contributions to our lives. She constantly put her family before all personal considerations and would have willingly and without question sacrificed everything for them. Betty had an unparalleled sense of humor, and often joked about her bad luck, but for everyone who loved her, we could not have been luckier. Betty is survived by her twin daughters, Randi Aileen Channel and Renee Ellen Parrill; son-in-law, Matthew Chad Parrill; three granddaughters, Ailene Ceppie Parrill, August Louene Young and Emma Katherine Parrill; a brother, Frederick Lee Paul of Newark; a niece, Jennifer Kay Paul; two nephews, Zachariah Edward Gill and Frederick Paul Gill all of Columbus; and her beloved and recalcitrant cat, Salem, who already misses tormenting her. Betty was preceded in death by her father, Edward, her mother, Virginia; and her sister, Julia Ellen (Paul) Gill. There will be no calling hours or services. The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral & Cremation Service, 59 North Fifth Street, Newark is assisting the family with arrangements.
