Terri Lynn Smith GLOUSTER: A memorial service will be held at a later date for Terri Lynn Smith, 56, of Glouster, who passed away August 24, 2015, at her daughter's residence in Athens. She was born March 18, 1959, in Zanesville, to the late George and Mary (McNutt) Smith. She is survived by her children, Tonya (Ruben) Sandoval of Athens, Michael (Jennifer Freeman) Jewell of Newark, and Thomas Shook of Glouster; siblings, George (Pam) Smith, Shirley (Dana) Moran, Nancy Davis, Roger Smith, Barb Foreman, and Gary (Cookie) Smith; nine grandchildren; and her significant other, Charles Burgette. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marsha "Mitzie" Keefe. Memorial contributions may be made to the Susan Komen Foundation. Snedeker, Logan James  
Logan James Snedeker NEWARK: Logan James Snedeker, 23, of Newark, died August 22, 2015 as a result of injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident involving a drunk driver. He was born on June 17, 1992 in Newark, the son of Tim and Betsy Snedeker. He graduated from Newark High School in 2011. He was currently enrolled at Columbus State Community College to pursue an Associate of Arts degree. An ardent drummer, Logan could be heard throughout the neighborhood jamming to sundry music styles from afro-cuban grooves to jazzy beats. As a student at Newark High School, Logan was a mainstay in the performing arts department. He drummed in the band, and orchestra, and sang in the choir. Logan also drummed in the pit orchestra for productions at Newark High School, Weathervane Playhouse, and Licking County Players. Logan's exuberance, passion, and light touched all who knew him. Logan is survived by his parents, TIm and Betsy Snedeker of Newark; his sister, Courtney, brother-in-law, Louie, and nephew, Maximus Buitron of San Angelo, Texas; his sister, April Snedeker of Washington, D.C.; his brother, Evan Snedeker, also of Newark; and his beloved dog, Alayna. He also leaves his maternal grandparents, Warren and Nancy Way of Newark; his uncle and aunt, Doug and Peggy MacQueen; and his cousins, Aubrey and Madison MacQueen of West Chester, Pennsylvania. Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Brucker & Kishler Funeral Home in Newark. The family will be holding a private ceremony on August 25, 2015. A public celebration of life will take place once our hearts have had time to heal on October 10, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Details about the location will be forthcoming.
