Bobby Lee Martin
NEWARK: A funeral service for Bobby Lee Martin will be held at 7pm, Monday, December 30, 2013, at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home in Newark. Friends and family may call from 3-7pm, Monday, at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st.Street.
Mr. Martin, age 69, of Newark, passed away Saturday, December 28, 2013, at his home. He was born April 20, 1944, in Fairmont, West Virginia, a son of the late Eugene and Amy (Mullins) Martin. Mr. Martin was a tool and die machinist and had worked at Owens-Corning, Cooper-Bessemer and most recently Ariel. In 1985, he started Broken Arrow Archery and operated the business with his wife. He was an avid gardener.
Surviving are his wife Carol "Sue" Martin; a son, William "Dale" Martin of Newark; brothers, Terry J. (Ann) Martin, Tom Martin, Danny (Susan) Martin all of Newark; sisters, Amy K. Martin of Newark, Beth Ann (Charles) Pillon of Thornville, Venus (Ron) Donaldson of Newark; grandchildren, Colleen Elizabeth (Dillion) Carsey of Newark, William Lee Martin of Newark, Dylan Trout of Newark, currently serving in the Army
National Guard in Virginia and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Shirley Claytor, Joyce Farmer and Robin Floyd.
