NEWARK: A funeral service for Brice O. Westfall, 97, of Newark will be held at 11 AM on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home with Pastor Dean Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Newark Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Mr. Westfall passed away on June 12, 2014 at SharonBrooke. He was born on May 31, 1917 to the late Eli Mills and Leta (Hines) Westfall in Burr Oak, OH.

He is survived by his sons, Brice "Jerry" (Judy) and Kenny (Cheryl) Westfall; grandchildren, Jennifer (Jon) Newman, Tim (Teresa) Westfall, Cheryl (David) Offenberger, Steve (Michelle) Westfall, Kelly (Andy) Virgin, Courtney (Sean) Shisler and Kristin (Jimmy) Figliola; 14 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; special friend, Amy Stockdale; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, wife Wanda Westfall and brothers Leo, Howard and Norman Westfall preceded Brice in death.

Mr. Westfall served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Toboso United Methodist Church. He was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, Hanover Lodge #338 for over 50 years. He retired from Owens Corning Fiberglass after 28 years where he served as Coordinator of the Apprenticeship Program. He was a member of the IAM Union, OCF Campers and Boat Club, American Legion and VFW. He was also a volunteer for Madison Township Fire Dept.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 16, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, OH. A Masonic service will be held at 7:45 PM.
