NEWARK: A celebration of life for Donald Delbert "Del" Robinson will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 26, 2013 at First Presbyterian Church with Pastor Steve Brand presiding. The family will receive friends and relatives Friday 4-8 P.M. at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N 21st Street, Newark.

Mr. Robinson, age 74, passed away at his home on Tuesday, January 22, 2013. He was born October 10, 1938 in Fredonia, Ohio to his parents Donald W. and Anna Mae (Haynes) Robinson. Del was a 1956 graduate of Utica High School and served with the Ohio National Guard from 1958 - 1965. He was a retired systems analyst from the Ohio Department of Education and served in the same capacity with such companies as State Farm Insurance Co, Westinghouse and Jeffrey Mining and Manufacturing Co. Del was a member and Elder of First Presbyterian Church in Newark and a former Elder of Woodside Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the New-Ark Emmaus Community where he served as a Past Lay Director. Del also served in his community as a volunteer for Hospice of Central Ohio.

Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife of 23 years Ann Marie Robinson; former wife Ann E. Robinson of Newark; son Douglas (Cori) Robinson of Newark and their children Sarah, Scott, and Hannah; step-son Adam (Jess) Porsch of Westerville; brother Kenny Robinson of San Antonio, TX; sisters Beverly (Gerry) Dush of Newark and Sue (Dwaine) Sawyer of Greenville, OH as well as seven nieces and nephews and several great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or to First Presbyterian Church
