Lucille R. Stypula
NEWARK: A funeral mass for Lucille R. Stypula will be held on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at 10AM, at St. Edward The Confessor Catholic Church, 785 Newark-Granville Road, Granville, with Msgr. Paul P. Enke, celebrant. Friends and family may call from 2-4PM and 6-8PM, on Wednesday, at the Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street in Newark.
Mrs. Stypula, age 93, passed away Monday morning, January 28, 2013, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, on September 29, 1919, a daughter of the late Martin and Mary (neé Rybiski) Waligorski. She was a member of St. Edward The Confessor Catholic Church, the Elks Auxiliary and the Rockwell Retirees. Mrs. Stypula also enjoyed meeting with her friends from the Sts. Peter & Paul Seminary Guild.
Surviving are her children, Dan Stypula and Linda Murphy, Pat Goodwin, Barb Kaseman, Tom Stypula, Jim and Gerry Milliser, Tim and Roseann Stypula, Betty and Rob Van Sickle; her beloved grandchildren, Daniela and Bob Rowe, Nicole and Eddie Holbrook, Joseph and Kristy Ossa, Mike Ossa, Tina and Charlie Baumgartner, Eddie Ossa, Cyndi and Jeff Richards, Scott and Tiea Kaseman, Tracy and Tom Pound, Carly Walter, Adam and Courtenay Stypula, Jonathan Stypula, Matt and Twana Hanish, James Milliser, Michelle and Ryan Anderson, Joshua and Margaret Milliser, Kelley and Josh Edds, Matt Stypula, Bobby and Jamie Van Sickle, Angie Van Sickle; great-grandchildren, Rachel, Sara, Evan, Brittany, Zack, Max, Ryan, Jacob, Eddie, Andy, Allison, Austin, Damon, Nathan, Mike, Emily, Keith, Karriann, Jared, Tyler, Alex, Kasey Rose, Elizabeth, Olivia, Gabriella, Matthew, Alexander, Lucy, James, Caitlyn, Elie, Lindsey, Ella, Jackson, Brandon, Bailey; 14 great-great grandchildren; one brother, Richard and Donna Waligorski and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Adam George Stypula on May 12, 1992; a daughter-in-law, Sandra Stypula; six brothers, four sisters and two great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
