ST. LOUISVILLE: Funeral service for Mary L. Weaver, 89 of St. Louisville, will be at 1pm Monday at Foglesong-Roush Funeral Home, Second and Pomeroy streets, Mason, West Virginia.

Mary went to be with the Lord peacefully on March 28, 2013 surrounded by her family. She was born May 15, 1923 in Huntington, W.Va to the late Roy and Maggie (Merritt) Winebrenner.

She served her God and country as a devout Christian, Naval wife and loving mother. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb graced by God. She loved to bake and sew but will always be remembered for her apple pies and brownies with sprinkles. But most of all she cherished the time she spent with her family especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was loved much and will be missed greatly by those who loved her.

She is survived by three children: Thomas (Jean) Weaver of Syracuse, Linda Weaver-French, Michael (Sharon) Weaver of St.Louisville; seven grandchildren; Chip (Renee) French, Andy (Jamie) French, Christopher (Missy) Weaver, Maggie (Hobie) French, Sara (Joey) Banks, Rachel Weaver and Emily (Jordan) Weaver; eight great grandchildren, Garrett and Gabby French, Clayton, Kora and Kirra French, Abby and Evan Weaver and Nataley Banks; brother and sister-in-law Gordon and Susan Winebrenner; nieces Mary Ann Lundell, Paula (Jim) Daugherty and Becky (Keith) Howell and their families.

In addition to her parents she was preceeded in death by her husband Harold E Weaver, Jr.; daughter Peggy (Weaver) Arnold; son-in-law Garry French; and granddaughter LeeAnn Weaver.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Cindy, Mallory and Dennis of Hospice who took exceptional care in body and spirit to make her last days comfortable and memorable.

Calling hours will be from 12pm to 1p on Monday at the funeral home.
