Michael Annarino

NEWARK: A Mass of Christian Burial for Michael A. Annarino, 52, of Newark, will be held at The Church of the Blessed Sacrament, 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2010, with Fr. Jonathan Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.

Michael died on Saturday, October 16, 2010. He was born in Newark, Ohio on October 25, 1957 to Doris (Girouard) Annarino of Newark, and the late John Charles Annarino.

Michael attended Blessed Sacrament Elementary and was a 1976 graduate of Licking Valley High School and the Joint Vocational School. He was employed by Denison University where he worked as an electrician for many years, and would often take great joy in playing jokes on his fellow co-workers.

Michael was a very talented craftsman, and used his talent to better serve those around him. He was always busying himself with something that needed mended, or someone that needed a hand. Whether it was tending to the small orchard of fruit trees he planted on the farm, quietly doing works for his family, or bringing a smile to his sister Patty's face, Michael's tender-hearted nature could be witnessed by many. He will be greatly missed and forever respected.

In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by his son, Michael David (Amanda Knisley) Annarino of Newark; his daughter, Jackie Marie Annarino of Norfolk, Virginia; his grandchildren, Nathan, Aubry, Justin, Jeff, and Kourtney; his brother, Armand (Jacque Keith) Annarino of Newark; his sisters, Jeannette Dennis, Teresa Fralick, and Patricia Annarino, all of Newark; aunts and uncles, Josephine Layton, Veronica and Ronald Edwards, Ralph Annarino, George and Karen Annarino, Miriam Scaffide, all of Newark, and Jeannette Clarke of Wethersfield, Connecticut; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, October 19, 2010 at the REED-EGAN FUNERAL HOME, 141 Green Wave Drive, Newark, where a Vigil Service will be held at 8:30 p.m.

The family requests that memorials be made to the Licking County Board of Developmental Disabilities
