Avonelle Willey
NEWARK: A funeral service for Avonelle Willey, 83, of Newark, will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at 10AM, at the Community Wesleyan Church, 161 Myrtle Avenue, Newark. Mrs. Willey's daughter, Pastor Lisa Willey will officiate. Burial will follow in the Hanover Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at the church on Monday, July 16, 2012 from 4-8PM.
Mrs. Willey passed away Thursday, July 12, 2012, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born May 21, 1929, in Newark, a daughter of the late Lewis and Annabelle (Moulton) Campbell. She was a member of the Community Wesleyan Church in Newark.
Surviving are her children, David (Nancy) Willey of Heath, Keith (Nancy) Willey of Whitehall, Mark Willey of Newark, Lisa Willey of Newark; her grandchildren, Sheila Donegan of Newark, Courtney (John) Veneziani of Maryland, Ashley (Philip) Vogelmeir of Granville, special grandchildren, Amber (Josh) Spung of Newark, Thad Thompson of Newark, Casey May of Newark; great-grandchildren, Jesyca Donegan, Zachary Donegan, Graycen Vogelmeir, Philip Vogelmeir; her brothers, Wayne (Shirley) Campbell, Ronald (Karen) Campbell, Robert (Sue Ann) Campbell all of Newark; several nieces and nephews, a special niece, Debbie (Randy) York and family, of Heath and a special friend, Gloria Pettet of Newark.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Millard A. Willey on July 9, 2005 and three brothers, George, Walter and Paul Campbell.
