Bennett Clay Hall, Jr. "Ben"

FRESNO, CA: Bennett Clay Hall passed away in Fresno, CA on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at age 87.

Ben was a resident of Madera, CA for 20 years. He was born on October 19, 1926 in Newark, Ohio to Bennett Clay Hall and Olga Mercidus (Gerber) Hall.

He served his country in WWII in the U.S. Navy and won a Victory Ribbon. Ben was a high school graduate and worked for Goodyear Tire Company in Ohio. He loved fixing things, growing orchids, and loved his cats.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 23 years, Georgina "Jean" (Guillot) Hall.

Ben is survived by his step-daughters, Amelia Cortesi and her husband, Perry Cooper of Madera, CA, Catherine Brown of Port Hadlock, WA and Sharon Kibe and her husband, Jim of Morganza, LA; step-son, Charles Morgan of Santa Rosa, CA; nephews, Jim Gerber and his wife, Jacqueline, Ken Householder and his wife Linda, Rolland Householder and his wife, Betty all of Newark, OH; ten step-grandchildren; and six step- great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.

Private services will be held.
