Bernetta E. Orsborn
WESTERVILLE: Bernetta E. Orsborn, age 93, of Westerville, Ohio- formerly of Newark, Ohio- passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 17, 2016. Born on January 28, 1923 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Rheinhardt and Elsie DeSombre, she worked as a licensed practical nurse in Chicago and in food services for the Newark, Ohio City Schools. Bernetta was a past member of Wright Memorial United Methodist Church in Newark and worshipped with the local church community in Columbus. She had a deep, and abiding, faith in Jesus Christ and found immense joy in spending time with her extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, Elsie and Rheinhardt, her stepfather William Horn and siblings Walter, Harold, Dorothy and Harriet. Bernetta is survived by four sons and their spouses, Richard (Staci), William (Donata), Gary (Suyan) and David (Karol); seventeen grandchildren and twenty-two great grandchildren. The memorial service and burial will be held on Saturday, December 17th at 10:00am at Newark Memorial Gardens Chapel. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that donations be made in Bernetta's name to Heartbeats of Licking County, 336 E.
