Cary Mitchell Baker
HEBRON: A funeral service, to celebrate the life of Cary Mitchell Baker, 50 of Hebron, will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home, with Pastor Walter Bruah officiating. Burial will follow at Hebron Cemetery with the Licking County Veterans Alliance providing military honors.
Cary was born in Newark on July 10, 1962 to the late Paul E. Baker Sr. and Ruby (Jim Pasco) Dodrill Baker of Newark. He passed away at Arlington Care Center on July 13, 2012.
Cary proudly served his country in the United States Army. He enjoyed working on cars, woodworking and building things. Most important in his life was spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his mother, survivors include wife of 27 years, Sharon Sue (App) Baker, whom he married on August 19, 1984; daughter and son, Chelsea Baker and Chase Mitchell Baker; grandchildren, Robert Kaige Ramsey, Jade Ramsey, Cassidy Bowshire, Reese Baker, and Silas Ramsey; grandmother, Anita Dodrill; brother, Paul Baker Jr.; brother-in-law, Tom Hawes; step-sisters, Melody, Kim, Jamie and their families; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by one daughter, Ashlei Baker; sister, Amy Hawes; and grandfather, Elwood Dodrill.
