ST. LOUISVILLE: Funeral services for Charles Riggenbach will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, with Pastor Tom Myers presiding. Interment will follow at Wilson Cemetery with military honors rendered by the Licking County Veterans Alliance. The family will receive friends and relatives 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.

Mr. Riggenbach, age 80, passed away at his home on Thursday, September 19, 2013. He was born January 16, 1933 in Hannibal, Ohio the son of John and Jesse Riggenbach. Charles served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was retired from Rockwell International. He was active in the community belonging to the American Legion - Utica Post, the Druids and Moose Lodge. He is remembered by his family as an avid collector of many things and family was first and foremost in his life.

Charles is survived by two loving daughters, Terry (Jeff) Lewis of Newark and Patty (Bruce) Donovan of St. Louisville; grandchildren Jennifer (Troy) Warnock, Jessie (Andy) Bowden, Brittany Donovan and Gary Donovan; three great grandchildren Caden Warnock, McKenley Bowden and Kaisey Bowden; sister Virginia Wiseman of Powhatan Point, OH as well as one niece and several nephews.

In addition to his parents, wife Shirley; brother John Riggenbach and sisters Betty Thomas, Carrie Kotson and Helen Kish preceded Charles in death.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Hospice of Central Ohio would be appreciated by the family.
