Charlie Lewis McNair
Newark: A Memorial service for Charlie Lewis McNair, 61, of Newark, OH will be held at 12 PM on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, OH with David Hallenbeck officiating.
Mr. McNair passed away on April 20, 2012 at Arlington Care Center after a long illness. He was born on July 7, 1950 to the late Moses and L.C. (Hawthorne) McNair in Prentiss, MS. He was a skilled craftsman and carpenter who enjoyed fishing and spending time with friends and family. He was a member of Liberty Temple Church in Columbus, OH.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene McNair; four children, Charlena McNair of Columbus, Craig McNair, Patricia McNair and Charlie McNair Jr. all of Buffalo, NY; two brothers, Ben McNair of MS and Jim McNair of NY; and three sisters, Etta James Lott of MS, Ettajames Lott of MS, Etta B. Jackson of MS and Pearl B. Johnson of NY.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McNair was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie James McNair, Lee Harry McNair and Leevester McNair.
Charlie had a number of special friends and family whom aided in his care over many years, they included, Louis (Keisha) Morrow, Donald (Alecia) Morrow, Pauline White and Samuel Adesope and many others. Special thanks to Eurae (Bobo) McNair and Linda Joy Jackson of MS.
