David L. Fuller

NEWARK: David L. Fuller, 57, of Newark, passed away Saturday, April 14, 2012, at the Selma Markowitz Hospice Care Center in Newark.

He was born June 30, 1954, in Dover, Ohio, a son of the late Henry (Hank) and Wanda Fuller. For many years, he was a custodian for the Tri-Valley Local School District and recently had worked at the YMCA in Newark.

Surviving are his wife, Jodie (Keiffer) Fuller; three sons, Matthew (Toshia Culver) Fuller of Newark, Dale (Erin) Fuller of Nashport, Tim (Brittany Hadden) Sowards of Columbus; one daughter, Jessica Fuller of Trinway; a brother, Buck (Becky) Fuller of Fresno, two sisters, Debra (William) Fankhauser, Jr. of New Philadelphia, Kathi (Scott) Kees of Newcomerstown; an aunt, Connie Senter; his grandchildren, Sofia, Mia, Aleera, Ethan, Landon, Trevin, his mother in law, Janis Keiffer of Newark, several nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, "Allie and Abbie".

Preceding him in death in addition to his parents are, a brother, Greg Fuller; an uncle, Raymond Senter and his father in law, James Keiffer.

The Fuller family would like to extend a special note of deep appreciation to Dr. Jones and the oncology staff, Central Ohio Hospice Inpatient and Home Care nurses, staff and home care providers, Cindy Simon and Cathy Ehret and Chaplain Tom Myers.

At David's request, no services will be held and memorial contributions are encouraged to Hospice of Central Ohio or the Licking Memorial Oncology/Hematology Department.

The Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark is assisting the family.
