Donald C. Sears
NEWARK: A memorial reception to remember the life of Donald C. Sears will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, September 9, 2012 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark. Inurnment will take place 10:00 A.M. Monday, September 10, 2012 at Newark Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
Mr. Sears, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. He was born June 28, 1940 in Columbus, Ohio to his parents Kenneth and Margaret (Valletta) Sears. Don was retired from Nationwide Insurance Co. after 29 years of employment as a programmer. He also enjoyed time spent with the Silver Sneakers group at the Northtowne Athletic Club.
Don is survived by his loving wife Svetlana "Lana" Sears; daughters Michele (Randy) Cook and Debra (Michael) Cumming; sister Sharon (Patrick) McNally and brother Ronald (Ilene) Sears.
In addition to his parents; his sister,Joanne preceded Don in death.
