Henry Gilmore Hutton Jr.
NEWARK: A funeral service for Henry Gilmore Hutton Jr., 81, of Newark, formerly of Columbus will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at God's Acres, 675 N. Cedar St., Newark with Pastor Roger Decker officiating. Burial will be held at East Lawn Cemetery in Columbus at a later date.
Mr. Hutton passed away on July 13, 2012 at Broadview Rehabilitation Center in Gahanna. He was born on January 29, 1931 in Rutland, OH to the late Henry Gilmore and Alta (Kincaid) Hutton Sr.
He is survived by his son, Simon David (Sharon) Hutton; grandchildren, Dawn Cook and Tiffany Limbach; 7 great-grandchildren; brother, Herman; sisters, Doris, Barbara, Marlene and Alma; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jane (Nunley) Hutton; son, Robert J. Hutton; daughter, Mary Ann Hutton; brother, Kenneth.
Mr. Hutton was a longtime member of God's Acres Church. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 11-1 PM at God's Acres.
