NEWARK: A funeral service for Jeremy Ridenbaugh of Newark will be held at the Criss-Schoedinger Funeral Home on Tuesday July 31, 2012 at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Jeremy was born in Newark on April 11, 1976 to Roger and Robin Gail (White) Ridenbaugh. He died Tuesday July 24, 2012 at the OSU Medical Center. He was 36.

Jeremy is preceded in death by paternal grandparents Russell and Rheva Ridenbaugh; maternal grandfather Robert White Sr.; step-grandfather Ronald Clark Sr.; uncle Terry Lee White; aunt Teresa Roberts; and niece Serenity Kay Ridenbaug.

Jeremy is survived by his Fiancee Melissa Reynolds; mother Robin Gail Ridenbaugh Mertens; father Roger (Barbara Lynn) Ridenbaugh; maternal grandmother Goldie Clark; his children Gage, Brianna, Shoshanna, Yavona, Madyx; stepchildren Zach, Chris, Sabrina, Brayden, Zoey, Tyler, Keith and Valerie; brother Cody Ridenbaugh, Justin Church, Eric Doyle, James Dunn; sister Victoria Hively and Shilo Miller; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends, especially Brandon and Jason Angus, Nick Kirk, Maymie Saunders, and Burton Soloman; his cousins who were like brothers and sisters to him are Brandy White, Bobbie Jo White, Justin Ridenbaugh and Jason Ridenbaugh.

Jeremy attended Newark High School where he sang in the choir and was a member of the Ski Club, attended Grace Vineyard Church, loved to be with his family, followed the OSU Buckeyes, coached his son Brayden in wrestling, liked to go camping, golf in his spare time, and visit the beaches of Florida and South Carolina, and was known as "Cabin Boy" in local billiard leagues.
