Kang Mi Black Holzschuher
NEWARK: Kang Mi Black Holzschuher, age 54, of Newark, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 14, 2013 at the Lund Family Hospice in Phoenix, Arizona. Kang Mi was surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 11, 1959 in South Korea to Ki Yong and Buim Lee.
She is survived by her husband, Brian Holzschuher of Newark; her son Adam (Mandy) Black of Columbus; her daughter Desiree Black of Pickerington; her step-daughter Katie Holzschuher James of Dresden; her granddaughter Purity Black of Pickerington which she adored; also surviving are her three sisters Kang Hui (Steve) Kimbrell of Phoenix, Arizona; Kang Sun (Terry) Baxter of California; Eun Suk of South Korea; and her father and mother-in-law, Francis and Shirley Holzschuher of Dresden.
Kang Mi loved the outdoors and spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed reading the Bible and Serving the Lord. Kang Mi was a member of the Licking Valley Church of Christ in Newark.
She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Kang Mi fought a courageous battle with cancer. Kang Mi was an amazing lady and an inspiration to everyone that knew her. She always had a beautiful smile and never complained.
Services will be held on May15, 2013 at 11:00 at Falcon Funeral Home in Gilbert, Arizona. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday May 25, 2013 at 1:00 pm at the Licking Valley Church of Christ at 1578 Dayton Rd in Newark.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cancer Treatment Centers of America.
