Robert A. "Artie" Fry

HEATH: A memorial service for Robert A. "Artie" Fry, age 52, of Heath, will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 18, at Heath United Methodist Church, 1149 Hebron Road with Pastor Jeff Belt officiating.

Mr. Fry passed away on Thursday August 9, 2012 at his residence. He was born January 28, 1960 in Mount Vernon, Ohio to the late Robert L. and Carrie Lee (Dailey) Fry.

Mr. Fry was a wonderful father who was kind, gentle and considerate who enjoyed writing poetry and songs, mushroom hunting, collecting coins and volunteering with the Heath High School wrestling team. He worked 26 years with AEP where he was a lineman. Artie was also an avid hunter.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Pam Fry; two children, Evan J. Fry of Heath, Emma J. Fry of Heath; brothers, Alan (Cheri) Fry of Danville, Perry Scott of Mt. Vernon, Ben Fry of Pataskala; sister, Marcy (Andy) Hughes of Granville; stepmother, Kay Ann Fry; niece, Carrie Wright, and a nephew, Clint Wright.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Leland Fry and a sister, Sherry Hinger.
