Robert E. Deavers
ETNA: Robert E. Deavers, 65, of Etna, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at OSU Medical Center.
Born December 15, 1946 to Eugene and Virginia (Baer) Deavers in Gallipolis, Robert graduated from Eastmoor High School before serving in the US Air Force. He retired after thirty years from the Columbus Division of Police. Robert's family is grateful to the VAD team at OSU Ross Heart Hospital for all their help.
He is survived by his loving wife, Mary (Kerger) Deavers; son, Ronald (Daisy) Deavers; mother; granddaughters, Nicole and Natalie Deavers; brother-in-law, Richard (Jessica) Kerger, Jan Kerger; a niece and nephews; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; and close friends and neighbors.
He is preceded in death by his father.
A visitation will be held at the PFEIFER FUNERAL HOME, Reynoldsburg, FRIDAY, August 10, 2012, from 12-2p.m. A funeral service will follow, with Rev. Trent Snider officiating, followed by burial at Glen Rest Memorial Estate.
