Robert "Bob" Fadley
NEWARK: Robert "Bob" Fadley, age 68, of Newark, passed away Saturday, July 25, 2015 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center (operated by Hospice of Central Ohio). He was born March 3, 1947 in Newark to the late Robert G. and Mary A. (Agnew) Fadley. Bob had worked for Newark Asphalt for over 23 years where he served as the plant operator. He was a transporter for Square One for Youth and cared for foster children with his wife. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, an avid Steelers Fan and spent a lot of years building street rods.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Doris (Winegardner) Fadley; two daughters, Malinda Sue (William) Cayton and Veronica Lynn (Mike Radliff) Fadley both of Newark; "other" daughter, Misty Bethards-Dobson of Newark; foster son, Mike Welch of IN; five grandchildren, Jayson (Megan) Thorpe, Erica Thorpe, Brittany Cayton, Ronald "Jr."(Jennifer) Gleason and Dillon (Kailyn) Furbee; nine great-grandchildren, Nevaeh, Hannah, Sarah, Jacob, Acire, Miles, Joshua, Xavier and Drennyn; a sister, Pamela Kay (Robert) Shook; brother-in-law, Clyde (Gloria) Winegardner; two sisters-in-law, Patsy Rice and Louise Roberts; numerous nieces and nephews; close friends, Barb and Doug Wilson and Patti Brooks.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Darlene Kay Fadley; a brother, Larry Eugene Fadley; and a good friend, Jim Brooks.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, at Grace Baptist Church, 470 Manning Street, Newark with Pastor Troy Kahler officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Church - parking lot project fund.
The Newark Chapel of Henderson-Van Atta-Stickle Funeral and Cremation Service is assisting the family with arrangements.

You will be missed. I remember Bob from Newark Asphalt where he worked with my husband Raymond Taylor and he was always nice and talked to everyone.
