Roger L. Clark

NEWARK: A funeral service for Roger L. Clark, 72, of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Rev. G. Keith Sjostrand officiating. Burial will follow in Lutheran Cemetery, where military honors will be conducted by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Roger, a retired farmer and owner of Clark Bros Farms, Inc., passed away February 19, 2014, at the Arlington Care Center. He was born November 26, 1941, in Newark, to the late Lawrence and Geraldine (Cooperrider) Clark.

Roger was a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of the Licking County Antique Tractor Club, a 25-year member and advisor of the 4-H Tractor Club, and the Double Lung Buck Club.

He is survived by his wife, Artistia (Brown) Clark; children, Jay (Dawn) Clark of Newark, Jeremy (Marcy) Clark of WV, Rusty (Machelle) Arnold of Newark, and Lisa (Jay Parkinson) Arnold of Newark; sisters, Shirley (Ron) Guyer of FL, Carol (Chance) Brockway of Hebron, and Rosalie Parkinson of Newark; grandchildren, Garrett Clark, Jessica and Andrea Weekley, Quay and Kylene Arnold and Jake and Brock Parkinson; great-grandchild, Carter Wyley; three aunts, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends may call from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.
