JOHNSTOWN: A celebration of life service for Sally Lucille Slevin, 56,

of Johnstown, will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at Vineyard Grace Fellowship, 4905 Jacksontown Rd., Heath, OH, with Pastor John Schouten officiating.

Sally entered heaven on February 4, 2014 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 20, 1957 in Byron, IL to the late Edwin A. and Lucille A. (Bukowski) Korleski. Sally attended Vineyard Grace Fellowship, graduated from Hononegah Community High School, Rockton, IL, social work degree from the University of Illinois, nursing degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She was a registered nurse for Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH.

Sally had a passion for writing, and even completed a novel that is yet to be published. Some of her favorite activities included hiking, biking, and vacationing in Door County, Wisconsin. Most importantly, Sally lived her life in the devotion of her Savior, Jesus Christ and had an overwhelming love for her family. She will be deeply missed and her memories cherished.

She is survived by her husband, Dale C. Slevin; children, Ashley Greene, Daniel Greene, bonus son, Clay D. (Lauren) Slevin, bonus daughter, Melia M. (Danton) DeLong; sister, Carolyn Korleski; brothers, James (Cheryl) Korleski and Anthony (Mary) Korleski; other family, Rachel G. McFarlane; grandchildren, Gerard, Leland, Emory, Aramis, Jubilee, Hosannah and a new grandbaby, DeLong expected in the fall.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Steven Greene who passed away September 16, 2003 and one granddaughter, Nalani DeLong.

Calling hours for friends will be Monday from 4-7 pm at the church. Family has asked those who wish make contributions to Hospice of Central Ohio, 2269 Cherry Valley Rd. Newark OH 43055 or Heartbeats of Licking County, 336 E. Main St., Newark OH 43055.
