Scott Daniel Bender
THORNVILLE: Scott Daniel Bender, 65, of Thornville, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 due to a tragic fall.
He had just finished one of the things he loved to do best and that was talking to people like his good neighbors.
He is survived by his wife Paula; daughter & son in law Cynthia & Todd Phillips;sister, Janice Conley; brothers, Ted & Bruce Bender; and many nieces & nephews.
He was a man with a heart of gold and was well loved by all who knew him.
Due to the nature of his passing, the family of Scott asks for your prayers. They also wish to thank all who helped him journey to OSU Trauma Care Center where he received excellent care and was blessed to be surrounded by compassionate physicians & nurses.
A celebration of Scott's life will be held Sunday July 29, 2012 @2pm Barn At the Backwoods 8572 High Point Rd. Thornville, Ohio 43076.
