Shawn Shaw Obituary
CANTON: Shawn H. Shaw, 42, of Canton, passed away unexpectedly Thursday June 12, 2014.
He was born on November 11, 1971 in Newark a son of the late Jack and Mary (Lemons) Shaw. Shawn was a 1990 graduate of Licking Valley High School and attended The Ohio State University. He was employed for many years by the Fisher Bakery.
Shawn is survived by his wife, Jennifer (Allen) Shaw; two daughters, Riley and Lucy Shaw all of Canton; two brothers, Richard and William Shaw; and a sister, Alicia Freeman.
A service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The family is being served by the Halteman-Fett & Dyer Funeral Home, Lancaster.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Daws Arboretum, 7770 Jackson Rd, Newark, OH 43056 in his memory.

I came to know Shawn a long time ago and was very fortunate to have worked with him for a while. I lost contact with Shawn after he and Jenny got married but over the years I have thought about him often. What a absolute loss. He was a very unique and great person and it makes me incredibly sad to know he isn't in this world anymore.

I was Shawn's fourth grade teacher at Mary Ann Elementary. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. He always had a smile on his face and made me laugh. I really enjoyed having him in class.

Shawn was a amazing friend to me I worked with him in the bakery and spent time off work with him sharing many laughs and stories amazing artistic talent writing skills and could tell a.story like no other he will be missed greatly by myself and many others at.fishers and customers as well.
