Delvie Ray Loudermilk

NEWARK: Delvie "Ray" Loudermilk, 79, of Newark, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at his home. He was born June 4, 1934, in Clintonville, West Virginia, a son of the late Thomas William and Eva (Hayes) Loudermilk.

Mr. Loudermilk retired in 1982 from Rockwell International. He had a passion for cars and automobile mechanics and was known for his generosity when doing repair work.

Surviving are his wife, Hattie (Holman) Loudermilk; step-son, Reginald (Marlene) Pitt of Newark; sons, John (Connie) Loudermilk of Newark, Jerry (Pam) Loudermilk of Heath, Jack (Carla) Loudermilk of Newark; a daughter, Julie Loudermilk of Newark; 17 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; and a sister, Nadine Holiday of Clintonville, West Virginia.

Private family memorial services will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the James Cancer Center in Columbus.
