Glenn Martin White

HEATH: A funeral service for Glenn M. White, 78, of Heath, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, with Pastor Tom Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

He passed away April 26, 2014, at his residence. He was born June 10, 1935, in Newark, to the late Washington A. "Bud" White, Jr. and Anna B. (Patterson) White.

Glenn was a 1953 graduate of Newark High School and a member of Faith United Methodist Church. He was employed at North American Aviation for 16 years and retired from Dow Chemical Co., where he had been employed for 26 years. Glenn was a member of Heath Masonic Lodge #771 F&AM. He enjoyed woodworking and metal craft and fishing. He enjoyed being Mr. Fix-it for everyone.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Delores "Dee" (Montgomery) White; sons Terry (Jodi) White of Sugar Grove and Tim White of Thornville; daughters Vicki White of Heath and Valerie White of Heath; grandchildren Tiffany (Lorin) Darst of Oregon, Shawn White of Columbus, Chase (Kate) White of Hebron, Tim (Whitney) White of Newark, Kyle White of Heath and Trent White of Heath; great-grandchildren Elias White of Hebron, Nyla White of Hebron, Cylas White of Newark, Mason Miller of Newark, and Myles Miller of Newark; sisters Jean Mathews of Michigan, Carrol Arlene Hauck of Columbus, Kay (Jim) White of California and Pat (Jim) Pierce of Newark; many nieces and nephews, and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers Donald White and Dale White.

Friends and family may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark, and also one hour prior to the service on Thursday. A Masonic service will be held by Heath Lodge #771 F&AM and Moudbuilders DeMolay at 7 p.m. Wednesday (the public is welcome).
