Paul E. Drumm

NEWARK: A graveside memorial service celebrating the life of Paul E. Drumm, age 83, of Newark, will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, at Wilson Cemetery with Rev. Greg Rosser officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Licking County Veterans Alliance.

Paul passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Heath Nursing Care Center. He was born June 16, 1931 in Perry County, Ohio to the late Clyde W. and Anna Marie (Shell) Drumm.

Paul had previously worked at Kaiser Aluminum for over 11 years and was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose in Columbus. He loved bowling and enjoyed listened to baseball games on the radio. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict.

He is survived by a three sons, Michael P. (Connie) Drumm of Newark, Dave (Terri) Drumm of Dayton and Jeffrey Drumm of Heath; a daughter, Sandi (James R.) Harrop of Heath; a brother, Ernie Drumm; two sisters, Marcella Harbaugh, Dorothy Householder; three grandsons, Paul Drumm, Terrance Drumm and Jake Drumm; three granddaughters, Regina (Ryan) Hynes, Hilary Drumm and Leah N. (Dan) Jaramillo; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Joann Drumm (2006); four brothers, Frederick, Ralph, Gilbert and Richard Drumm, a sister Frances Hollar; and a grandson, Jeffrey E. Carpenter.

Friends and relatives may visit with the family one half hour prior to the graveside service from 1:00-1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, at Wilson Cemetery.
