Robert Morgan "Bob" Gwynn Sr. Obituary
NEWARK: A graveside service for Robert "Bob" Morgan Gwynn, Sr., 80, of Newark, will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday January 24, 2011, at Cedar Hill Cemetery, with Pastor Irene Wilson officiating.

Mr. Gwynn, a retired electrical contractor, passed away January 12, 2011, at his residence, surrounded by his family. He was born October 27, 1930, in Fairmont, West Virginia, to the late Eldora and Loda (Gibson) Gwynn.

He was an Army veteran serving in the Korean Conflict where he received a Bronze Star.

He is survived by his sons, Randy (Mary) Gwynn, Tom (Tina) Gwynn, and Tim Gwynn all of Newark; sister, Helen (Victor) Gracy of Fairmont, West Virginia; grandchildren, Amber, Brian and Tim (Keri); great grandchildren, Breana, Taliyah, Jalena, Malachi, Rayna, Mason, Emma, and Austin; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents; he was preceded in death by his wife, Iris Emmogene (Starr) Gwynn, whom he married on March 3, 1955; son, Robert Morgan Gwynn, Jr.; brother, John Gwynn; and grandson, Randall Gwynn.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St. Newark.
