Paul "Terry" Walker, Jr.

REYNOLDSBURG: Mr. Paul "Terry" Walker, Jr., 47, of Reynoldsburg, Ohio passed away on July 13, 2011. Terry was born in Newark, Ohio to Paul T Walker, Sr. and Elizabeth (Sandman) Walker.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Shane and former wife Susan Walker of Gahanna; brothers, Larry, Chris, and Mark; and sister, Debra (Steve) Sabo all of Newark; nephews, Larry G. (Nicole) Walker, Erik Walker, Zack Sabo; and niece, Morgan Sabo as well as countless friends and business associates.

Terry graduated from Utica High School and the Auto Body program at the LCJVS. He was employed many years in the cemetery business, including Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newark, since 1991 he had been employed by Union Cemetery where he has been the General Manager since 1996. Terry was a member and past president of the Ohio Association of Cemetery Superintendents and Officials. He volunteered for Riverside Hospice and Disability Resource Network Bingo.

Terry loved restoring old cars, camping, boating, snow skiing and spending time with his son, family and friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, July 22nd from 4 to 8 pm at the Brucker and Kishler Funeral Home located at 985 N. 21st Street, Newark, Ohio with a memorial service starting at 7:30. The family encourages anyone that would like to share a special memory of Terry to write a note prior to the service (note cards will be provided). Internment will be Saturday, July 23rd at 11:00 at Union Cemetery, 3349 Olentangy River Road, Columbus, Ohio 43202.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a college educational fund for Shane Walker established with Park National Bank. Local arrangements by Shaw-Davis Funeral Homes.
