William "Bill" H. Young

Newark: A memorial service for William "Bill" H. Young, 86, of Newark will be held at 4 PM on Saturday, November 5, 2011 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st St., Newark, OH with Pastor Dennis Baker officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 5, 2011 from 2-4 PM at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home. Masonic Service will be held at 1:45 PM.

Mr. Young passed away from Alzheimer's on October 25, 2011 at the Inn at SharonBrooke. He was born on October 23, 1925 to the late William H. and Blanche (Parks) Young in Ingomar, PA.

He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Ruth E. (Baker) Young, son, Daniel W. Young of Heath; daughter, Ruth E. (Tom) Weidemeyer of Mansfield; grandchildren, Derek Fisher, Blake Young and William Young; brother, Lynn (Betty) Young of Columbus; sisters, Betty Moses of Worthington, Metta Bennett of Columbus and Carolyn Robertson of Florida.

Bill served in the U.S. Navy during WWII and the Korean War. He worked at the Air force Base as a guidance systems technician. He has been a Mason for 63 years, member of the Heath Masonic Lodge #771 F&A.M., Scottish Rite and Shriners.
