NEWARK: A memorial service for Ruth D." Mimi" Fulton will be held Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Brucker-Kishler Funeral Home, 985 N. 21st Street, Newark with Pastor Jeff Smith presiding. An Eagle service will take place at 6:30 P.M. Wednesday. The family will receive friends and relatives beginning at 5:30 P.M. on Wednesday.
Mrs. Fulton, age 72, passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 27, 2012 at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus. She was born June 21, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan. Ruth was the owner of Land and Sea Travel Agency. She was very active in the Eagles. She was a member of Newark Eagles #387 Women's Auxiliary, Zanesville Eagles #302 and Caldwell Eagles. She was an active fundraiser for two projects sponsored by the Eagles - God, Flag and Country as well as One Way Farm. Ruth loved spending time with her family and took great joy in helping others. She also enjoyed spending time with her "Eagle's" friends, traveling, shopping and camping.
Ruth is survived by her loving husband of 55 years. Jack Fulton; children Jack Fulton II of Newark, Mark (Diane) Fulton of Newark and Leslee (Mark) Arthur also of Newark; grandchildren Andy, Heather, Derek, Brooke, Lyndsey, Casey and Whitney as well as five great grandchildren; sister Lois Browder of Tipp City, OH and brother Bill (Irma) Watkins of Heath; numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her mother Lois (Holmes) Hyatt, step-father Harry Hyatt also preceded Ruth in death.
Memorial gifts, in Ruth's name, may be made to Hospice of Central Ohio or to One Way Farm c/o Eagle's Club.
