NEWARK: According to her wishes, no service or calling hours will be observed for Margaret I. Cook, 85, of Newark, who passed away January 11, 2013, at Autumn Health Care. She was born December 31, 1927, in Grossrudestedt, Germany, to the late Max Hugo and Eugenia Charlotte (Dachs) Schluter.
Mrs. Cook was a secretary at Holophane, enjoyed crocheting and sewing, and loved Nebraska and Ohio State Football teams.
She is survived by her children, James (Sharon) Holman of Newark, Barbara (Timothy) Stockdale of Newark, and Tom Holman of Heath; step-children, Ronald E. Cook, Jr., Timothy Cook, Sr., Tamera Novacek, Ethel Cook and William Cook, Sr.; 8 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 24 step-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren; brother-in law, Jerry E. Osborn; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janet (Prentis "Cotton") Brown, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald E. Cook, Sr.; sister, Renate L. "Renee" Osborn; brother, Werner Schluter and brother-in-law, Jack Cook.
