Adelyn M. Marshall

GRANVILLE: A memorial service for Adelyn Marie Kleeberger Hanna Marshall, 85, of Granville will be held Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 4:00 P.M. at the Centenary United Methodist Church, 102 E. Broadway, Granville with Rev. Stephen J. Cramer officiating. A reception at the church will be held in Shepherd Hall following the service.

Adelyn died Monday, June 17, 2013 at the Selma Markowitz Care Center in Newark. She was born July 23, 1927 in Perrysburg, OH to the late Frank A. and Addie (Shipman) Kleeberger.

Active in her community, Adelyn was a member of the Centenary United Methodist Church, Garden Club, Winter Picnic, Perrysburg Chapter 46, and Order of the Eastern Star. She was a volunteer for Twig 6 and a charter member of the Granville Recreation Commission. She was a former employee at Denison University, and Owens Corning, and realtor for Pinkerton Realty.

She is survived by her son, Richard Heath Hanna of Sandy, OR; daughter, Lyn Shipman Hanna of Nederland, CO; step-sons, David Barton Marshall and spouse, Barbara Moffit of Vancouver BC, John Spenceley Marshall and spouse, Angie Plummer of Columbus, and Robert Shepard Marshall of Chicago, IL; step-daughter, Barbara Joyce Marshall and spouse, Jon van Dommelen of Columbus; step-daughter-in-law, Olena Marshall of Chicago, IL; step-grandchildren, Brendan Marshall, Emma and Bryn van Dommelen, Max and Laura Marshall, and Benjamin and Ella Marshall; sisters-in-law, Lee Anne Kleeberger of Perrysburg, and Jane Marshall Gottschall of Granville; her caretaker of two years, Michal Newberry; and beloved dog, KC.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her spouse, Peter L. Marshall, who died Feb. 21, 2008; brothers, Paul and Ralph Kleeberger; and sister-in-law, Theresa Kleeberger.
