ALEXANDRIA: G. Virginia Selby "Ginny", 91, of Alexandria passed away on Wednesday, March 22nd, 2017 at Newark Hills Nursing Home. Galah was born in Johnstown, OH on December 22nd, 1925 to the late Francis and Ethel Peterman. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star as well as the Pythian Sisters. Galah loved crosswords and puzzles, but the thing that she loved most was visiting with her family.
Galah is survived by her children, Raymond (Roxanne) Selby, Patricia (Myrio) Quarles, and Lee Selby; 4 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren; sister, Carolanne (Cliff) Bigler; brothers, Lyle Peterman, Paul Peterman, and Wayne Peterman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rheil John Selby; son, John Selby; and siblings, Russell Peterman, Claude Peterman, Leah Powell, Francis Peterman, and Edward Peterman.
Dignity cremation is to take place through Crouse-Kauber-Fraley Funeral Home in Johnstown, Ohio.

Mom you were always there for me when I was younger. You and dad would take me and Lee all over. You loved to visit with friends and family. You loved to do your word search puzzels. You loved your Reds baseball team and your OSU Buckeyes. You taught me some of your recipes, like your egg noodles. I love the way you would cock your head and say "I am FBP." I will miss you and I love you very much always, Thank You for all you taught me and for being my mom. Love and Hugs, Trish Until we meet again up in Heaven.

Dear Raymond, Patricia and Lee and families: I was deeply saddened to hear of Aunt Ginny's passing. I had not seen her in years but tried to send cards over the years to let her know I was thinking of her. May God give each of you peace in knowing she is not suffering. That does not always make it easier but God has a plan for each of us. Sending love and prayers to each of you and your families.
