Clyde Wall

NEW BERN - Clyde Wall, 74, of New Bern died Sunday, March 30, 2014.

Clyde married the love of his life at 17 years of age and devoted 57 years to his wife and family. Poppy was cherished by his children and grandchildren. His great granddaughter Aubrey brought special joy to his life. Clyde was a successful cabinet maker and custom furniture builder. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time in his shop. He would become known as Mr. Clyde to many and enjoyed the story of Dr. Alex's son following him as he worked near his home. Clyde had a kind and gentle soul and was loved by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Al and Trudie Wall and brothers, Bobby Wall and Ray Wall.

He is survived by his wife, Angela Wall; son, Dale Wall and Teresa Zaytoun; daughter, Lynn Wall Anderson and husband, Chad Anderson; brothers, Gene Wall and wife, Christine Wall; sisters-in-law, Margaret Wall and Charlotte Wall; sisters, Lena Wall Young and husband, Curtis Young and Joy Wall Slate; grandchildren, Lindsey Wall, Kendall Wall, and Lucas Anderson and great granddaughter, Aubrey Anderson.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2014 at 11 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Rev. William Hawkins officiating. Burial will follow the service at Greenleaf Memorial Park at 1 p.m.

The family wishes to thank the loving staff at Two Rivers Healthcare – Neuse Campus, Aleta Brydge PA-C, Dr. Wendy Moeller, Dr. Thomas Burkhart and staff, 3rd floor Nephrology staff at CarolinaEast Medical Center and Dr. Matt Smith for many years of loving care.
