BRIDGETON | Mr. Maurice J. "Mike" Duggan, 84, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He was a native of Syracuse, NY, and was a longtime resident of Princeton, NJ, where he was Employee Relations Manager for FMC Corporations Research Center. Mike was a US Army veteran of WWII, the Korean Conflict and Vietnam, and after his discharge, earned his BS from Cornell University. Mike continued serving his country in the US Army Reserves, retiring as a Lt Col. He loved his Country and enjoyed being with other veterans in the local VFW.
Graveside services, with US Army honors, will be noon, Friday, August 15, 2014 at Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery, on Hwy 24, in Jacksonville, NC. Carpooling will leave the funeral home at 11 a.m. Memorials, in Mike's name, may be made to Eastern NC, 3739 National Dr., Suite 110, Raleigh, NC 27612, or www.alz.org/nc.

Mike is survived by his wife, Theresa M. Duggan, of the home, two sons, a daughter, one sister, and five grandchildren.
