NEW BERN - Dolly Jane Bell Collins of 824 Bloomfield St. died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Unihealthcare-Trent Campus.Her funeral will be conducted 1 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, at Mt. Calvary MB Church with the Rev. L. B. Kelsey Sr. officiating. The interment will follow in Cedar Grove Extension Cemetery.
She was born in Havelock and retired from Cherry Point, July 30, 1976. She was a member of Mt. Calvary MB Church serving as a choir member, culinary committee member and church sexton.
She is survived by her son, Raymond Collins of Dublin, Calif.; one sister, Sarah Collins of New Bern; and one grandson.
The family will receive friends at the residence. Viewing hours are Monday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the mortuary.
