TRENTON - Douglas Glen Jerkins Sr., 63, of 831 Ten Mile Fork Road, died onSunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at his residence.
He was employed with the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier, with the Maola Company, P.A. Lovett Building Contractors and served honorably in the U.S. Air Force.
He is survived by his children, Douglas G. Jerkins Jr., Aletha Antonia Ellison and Cherrelle Samantha Carr; three grandchildren; his siblings, Joe Ike Jerkins, Sylvia Ann Willis, Geraldine Smith, Cheryl Hall.
Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at the residence.
The family will be receiving their friends and guest at the residence.
